Contemporary technologies herald significant progress in various scientific and artistic domains, including architecture. The objective of this study is to identify and evaluate the components of modern technologies in architecture and to examine their impact on public comfort. Nowadays, new technologies are widely utilized to create comfort and welfare, enhance security, and reduce costs. Architecture, as one of the key components of the built environment, has historically been influenced by the technologies of its time. The undeniable impact of steel and concrete on the emergence of modern architecture is a clear testament to this claim. In recent years, we have witnessed the significant presence of modern technological features in construction and architectural practices. In this context, architecture has at times been overshadowed by modern technologies, while in other instances, these technologies have subtly and effectively served architectural purposes. The research method adopted in this study involves the selection of thirty types of contemporary building materials, followed by the preparation of a questionnaire aligned with their corresponding indicators. This questionnaire measures the desirability of these components and the ratings assigned to them by citizens. In this research, 384 residents of District 3 in Shiraz responded to the questionnaire, rating each item on a five-point Likert scale ranging from “very high” to “very low.” The citizens’ responses were then analyzed using SPSS version 25 to assess the quality and desirability of the selected components. در دنیای امروز، استفاده از واژه‌ها و مفاهیمی همچون فن آوری نوین، در محافل علمی و پژوهشی کاربرد یافته است که خود نشان از توجه ویژه دانشمندان و پژوهشگران به تحولات و پیشرفت در عرصه فن آوری می‌باشد. فن آوری‌های امروزی، نوید بخش پیشرفت‌های چشمگیری در زمینه‌های مختلف علمی و هنری از جمله معماری شده است. هدف از این پژوهش شناسایی و ارزیابی مولفه‌های فن آوری‌های نوین در معماری و تاثیر آن بر آسایش مردم می‌باشد. امروزه، از فن آوری‌های جدید به منظور ایجاد رفاه و آسایش، امنیت و صرفه جویی بیشتر در هزینه ها، بهره‌های فراوانی برده می‌شود. معماری به عنوان یکی از مولفه‌های محیط انسان ساخت، در طی روند تاریخی خود همواره متاثر از فن آوری‌های زمان خود بوده که تاثیرات غیرقابل انکار فولاد و بتون در پیدایش معماری مدرن، گواهی بر این ادعا است. طی سالهای اخیر شاهد حضور تاثیرگذاری از جلوه‌های فن آوری‌های نوین در زمینه ساخت و ساز و معماری بوده‌ایم که در این میان، گاه معماری در سایه فن آوری‌های نوین قرار گرفته و گاه فن آوری‌های نوین با حضور موثر و البته نامحسوس خود، در خدمت معماری بوده است. روش تحقیق در این پژوهش به صورت بوده است که تعداد سی مورد مصالح نوین امروزی انتخاب شده و سپس پرسشنامه‌ای متناظر با شاخص‌های آن‌ها تهیه گردیده است. در این پرسشنامه میزان مطلوبیت مولفه‌ها و امتیازی که شهروندان به آن‌ها می‌دهند. در این تحقیق 384 نفر از اهالی منطقه 3 شیراز، سوالات پرسشنامه را در پنج طیف بسیار زیاد تا بسیار کم پاسخ می‌دهند. نتایج نظرات شهروندان بااستفاده از نرم افزار آماری SPSS نسخة 25 مورد ارزیابی قرارگرفته تا میزان کیفیت و مطلوبیت مؤلفه‌های منتخب بدست آید.
