Given the significant role of educational environments in influencing learning, appropriate selection and use of colors can enhance the quality of these spaces and increase students' motivation. The findings indicate that cool colors, such as blue and green, are ideal for spaces requiring concentration and tranquility due to their calming effects, while warm, energetic colors like yellow and orange are more suited to areas that benefit from stimulation and heightened motivation. The article also reviews previous studies, comparing and contrasting these findings with other color psychology theories. Results suggest that a balanced combination of cool and warm colors can create a harmonious space aligned with students' psychological needs. Practical recommendations are provided for educational interior designers and architects to optimize educational spaces using color psychology principles. Additionally, suggestions for future research are offered, which could explore the effects of lighting, color intensity, and reactions of specific groups, including students with special needs, thereby contributing to better educational space design.
