The integration of technology and art in public space design, using principles of digital architecture, has created a novel transformation in users' experiences within urban environments. This study aims to analyze the effects and challenges of combining technology and art in public spaces through a comprehensive literature review and case study analysis, examining the advantages and limitations of this approach. Findings reveal that innovative technologies, such as intelligent systems, interactive lighting, and digital displays, not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of public spaces but also foster social belonging and active user engagement. Furthermore, these spaces offer a dynamic and user-centered experience, with environments that are adaptable to users' needs. However, high costs, maintenance requirements, and infrastructure limitations remain significant challenges in implementing this type of design. To address these barriers, sustainable and cost-effective technologies are recommended, along with further studies on user needs and the social impact of these spaces. Additionally, developing standardized design frameworks for digital public spaces can serve as guidance for architects and designers to create interactive and flexible environments. This research seeks to provide a comprehensive perspective on the impacts and potential of digital architecture in public spaces, contributing to the enhancement of urban quality of life and the cultural and social development of communities.
