The present study aims to develop an Iranian–Islamic model of women’s dress grounded in cultural, religious, and national values. The research adopts a documentary method, and data were collected through systematic note-taking. In this study, principles such as modesty, chastity, national identity, and aesthetics are examined as theoretical foundations, and an analytical–comparative framework is proposed to explicate these concepts. In addition, the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing an Iranian–Islamic dress model in contemporary Iranian society are analyzed. In designing the proposed model, inspiration is drawn from arabesque motifs and patterns derived from Iran’s traditional arts, particularly tilework, stucco decoration, and historical textiles. While maintaining a connection to cultural heritage, this approach emphasizes creating harmony between tradition and modernity and contributes to strengthening women’s cultural identity as well as aligning dress with the social, economic, and aesthetic needs of Iranian society. The success of this model depends on the alignment of religious teachings with Iran’s cultural and artistic requirements. The proposed model can serve as a guide for cultural policymakers, Islamic fashion designers, and scholars in the field of clothing, and can play a role in the development of innovative apparel technologies and sustainable design.
